Blackburn Prior wish to congratulate Margaret and Adam from Big4 Great Lakes Forster-Tuncurry Holiday Park on their recent win at the 2015 North Coast Tourism Awards.
Gold Medal winners in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category, the Great Lakes Holiday Park lies 3.5 hours North of Sydney and is located in the picturesque twin towns of Forster Tuncurry. Their position is a tropical oasis, with a stunning waterfront location. Two boat ramps give direct access to waterways so that holiday makers can enjoy memorable hours upon the lakes, ocean fishing or just exploring. The park is within walking distance to local shops, restaurants and beaches and offers a variety of accommodation options from powered camp sites to luxury 4.5 star cabins.
Andrew Lowrey recently worked with the owners of Great Lakes to produce a detailed Business Plan, which formed the basis for their awards submission.
Andrew says "Although having a long history of success, the owners and managers continue to work hard to achieve the business' vision statement: to exceed guest's expectation by providing the highest quality of both guest relations and park facilities." He also said "A well thought out and relevant vision statement can be used by management as a tool to refocus ongoing activities and assist it in making sound business decisions."
Great Lakes now progress to the NSW State Awards to be held at Darling Harbour. Blackburn Prior believe they will be very strong contenders in their category and wish them the best of luck for this night.
