Amanda joined the Blackburn Prior team in 2012, after working with another local accounting firm for sixteen years in taxation, business advisory services and audit. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Graduate Diploma (ICAA) and is a member of Institute Chartered Accountants.
Amanda’s ability to see the overall picture ensures she identifies areas for improvement and increase efficiencies whether it is changing the structure or strategies of the business, increasing growth, building a business to sell, or developing a succession plan.
Amanda’s expertise in income tax for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and superannuation funds applies to a diverse cross-section of industries from commercial plumbing and cleaning to commercial rental properties, foreign businesses to medical, agriculture to retail, accommodation to supermarkets.
Her skills in multitasking, business growth and selling strategies coupled with her prompt, reliable and personal service, provides you with time to focus on your core business and growing your organisation.
Amanda focuses on family-owned and medium businesses and enjoys strong relationships with her clients and with a young family of her own she understands a work-life balance is key to achieving the most out of home and business.
Having grown up in rural Northern Rivers on beef cattle, rye grass and soya been farm Amanda is committed to the community and volunteers with school reading, canteen and other activities. On the weekends you will find her spending time with her family and friends enjoying the outdoors camping, fishing at Evans Head or Ballina or taking the children to sport.
